Hey Guys.

Tis’ the season for graduation! I have done a few Graduate Portrait sessions in the past few weeks, and I plan to put some of them up in the next couple of days. Whitney Jenkins is graduating from the University of North Texas with a Degree in Education. Congrats Girl!

Whitney’s Session was extra fun because she brought four of her friends to the shoot. They made sure Whitney looked good at all times =0)

Here are some shots from the session:

Jolie and Marcel =0)

April 27, 2010

Wow, it has been almost TWO WEEKS since I have updated my blog. The good news I have been away from the computer because I have been busy shooting up a storm. I have many sessions to put up in the next few days so stay tuned!

The following photographs are from a session I did with the oh-so-cute Jolie and Marcel Trudeau last week. I had never shot children by myself in a studio, and I figured it was about darn time I did it! The pictures came out fabulous!

Here are a few pictures from the session:

A montage of Jolie:

Halfway through the shoot, I gave the children lollipops….Warning: the next following pictures are too adorable for words, lol.

The next two pictures are edited to look like the pictures you see of the guest stars on Saturday Night Live before and after commercials (you know what I am talking about!)

This one is my hands down favorite!

I would like to say thank you to Raquel and Raul for helping my out on this shoot, to Mr Burton for letting me use his studio, and of course Dr. and Mrs Trudeau for letting me use their “Culturally Diverse” babies ;0)

Hey Guys!

Myron Butler, a Grammy award winning gospel artist, came out with his third album: Revealed…Live in Dallas. It is an AWESOME album and I highly suggest you pick up a copy.

You are probably thinking what does that have to do with photography? Well, I am proud to say that all the images in the album jacket layout are MY IMAGES!!!! Yay!

I would like to thank Myron Butler and his staff for giving me such a wonderful opportunity. I have always been blessed by Myron’s music and I NEVER imaged having the privileged to provide photographs for his album. Myron Butler was a kind and generous man how was extremely fun to work with. =0)

Our God is awesome God! (Yes he is)

I have to admit, I looooove doing engagement sessions! It is so much fun to spend the afternoon capturing moments of to people in love. Last week, I had the privilegde to photograph Jason and La Toya at the Dallas Aboretum . The weather was divine and I had blast shooting the couple. Here are a few pictures from the day:

So cute!

Jason and La Toya had made these AWESOME shirts for the shoot. Notice that their wedding colors match my logo. That makes them tha bomb dot com in my book =0)…..btw Jason’s face is hella funny in this shot, lol.

Drinking a root beer float….

Sharing a moment: Root beer floats are hilarious….not really.

The couple really wanted a picture of them praying together.

It filled my heart with happiness for prayer is the foundation to any strong long lasting relationship (Matthew 18:19-20)

I love the rainbow lens flare in this shot… scientifically it probably is present because my lens is dirty, but we are a just going to say god’s presence is in the shot, amen? Amen =0)

I love this last shot. The water and pointed toes are so totally fab tab!

Maddie =0)

April 5, 2010

Last Friday the weather was totally schizophrenic. It would rain, then stop. Rain then stop. But that did not prevent cutie pie Maddie from getting her model on! We had a fabulous shoot at the gorgeous Dallas Arboretum.  This girl was carefree and too cute! Here are some of the photos:

In the rain….

In this picture, Maddie had fallen and scraped her knee… her mother, Jodi picked her up to comfort her.

Maddies mean face! Too funny!

In her tutu….

A photo of tha fam! =0)

I think I am getting the hang of photographing children. They look so precious in film!

Last weekend I was in a super fun performance called “Life’s Interruptions”. The performance was Directed by UNT Comm Studies Student Sarah Traylor. I would go into depth about the play…but I do not feel like it. Just Google “David Sedaris”. He is a very funny man.

Anyway I am creating this blog because the director of the play just texted me to remind me for the 2nd time to put up some pictures of the cast on the last night…..Enjoy!

The Wonderful cast after our last performance

Things get crazy!

I don’t think I have ever had to blur a picture….show us how you really feel Jessica. lol

The Fab Tab Director: Sarah Traylor

Nolon =0)

March 31, 2010

Here are some pictures from a photo session of the ADORABLE Nolon. Nolon is the son of Jazzmyne and Dedrick. I would write a little more about the boy, but he straight wore me out during this shoot! Nolon had so much energy and it was a challenge to keep up with him! We basically let Nolon run around and allowed the camera to capture Nolon as his true authentic two-year-old self.

Enjoy! =0)
